Lowrey Family: Our school telephone lines are down again this morning. Possibly all day. Apparently there is a cable down somewhere and it is supposed to be fixed by 4:00 today.

Lowrey Family: As most are aware, the 7th/8th boys basketball team won ORES Area Champs in our division. A Lowrey parent raised money to buy all of the students at Lowrey School a t-shirt. They will be going home with students today, except PK and KDG. They will wear theirs to their upcoming track meet and then will be sent home.

Lowrey Family: The 1st/2nd grade Safety Trip to Cherokee Nation on Friday, 4/26/24, has been cancelled by Cherokee Nation.

Lowrey Family: Week 0f April 22-26, 2024. ***Mon. 4/22 - KDG Testing. End of the Year testing starts today. ***Tues. 4/23 - Testing ***Wed. 4/24 - Testing. ***Thurs. 4/25 -Testing, 5th-8th STEM 3:30-6:30. **Fri. 5/26 - Testing, 3rd/4th Bug Program @ 8:30, 1st/2nd Safety Fair @ Cherokee Nation Complex. **EXTRA NEWS: Kdg. and 8th Graduation is on May 14, 2024. Kdg. @ 10:00, 8th @ 6:00. Please make sure your student gets plenty of rest during the next two weeks for testing and is on time for school.*** Have a great weekend!

Lowrey Family: We wanted to give a BIG THANK YOU to all who helped with the hay wrap competition. Although we did not win, we did come in 4th. We just wanted to let you know that we appreciated all who brought the wrap.

Lowrey Family: GRADUATION DATE HAS CHANGED!! Graduation is May 14, 2024. Kindergarten is @ 10:00, 8th Grade is at 6:00.

Lowrey Family: The end of the school year is fast approaching, so we wanted you to be aware that the last day of school for students is May 16, 2024. The last day of After-School will be May 9th. Last day of Early Birds is May 16th.

Lowrey Family: The 1st - 3rd grade Kenwood Track Meet that was scheduled for tomorrow, Tues. 4/2/24, has been cancelled and rescheduled for Friday, 4/5/24.

Lowrey Family: Just a reminder about Lowrey’s Community Easter Egg Hunt tomorrow, Thursday March 27th. It begins at 1:00. Don’t forget to send an Easter basket with your student or bring one when you come! Age group: 1 year up to 3rd grade. Come join the fun!

Lowrey Family: CONGRATULATIONS to the following three Lowrey Students- Braylon Johnson Zoie Blackfox Jacey Gann Who were selected to play in the ORES Inter-Tribal Rising Stars Basketball Game Saturday, March 30th @ the Mvskoke Dome in Okmulgee. Student/athletes representing over 40 schools from across the state will be showcased. This is the 3rd annual all-tribal basketball tournament for individual 8th graders who are graduating from an Oklahoma Rural Elementary School (ORES). The Rising Stars Game is highlighting students who work hard on the court and off the court. See Lowrey School FB for pics.

Lowrey Family: The 5th-8th Grade Track meet practice, at Moseley, that was scheduled for tomorrow, Tues. 3/26/24, has been rescheduled for Thurs., 3/28/24.
